River Boarding Adventure from Falmouth
Travel along Jamaica’s scenic north coast until we arrive at a small dirt road that leads you along the historic Rio Bueno River in the lush valley. After going across the “Irie Bridge” and doing a small hike in the rain forest you will be given safety instructions by your guides, then crab a board to go down the river currents for an adventurous ride through seven rapids while being lead by guides. Finally, you will paddle to the beach where you can spend some time at the beach and have a cool drink at the bar before returning to your Cruise Ship Pier in Falmouth.

- 1 hour 45 minutes river boarding
- Participants need to be in good physical condition and be able to swim
- 7 exciting rapids including 2 surprises for River Boarding.
- River rapids are rated class 1 and class 2 (easy to moderate)
- The River flow is rated class 3 (swift moving water)
- River Boarding Tour is High Adventure Rating
- Not recommended for pregnant women
- We also offer private group Tours
The following options are also available after your excursion:
- Enjoy some Jamaican lunch, this includes authentic spicy Jamaican Jerked Pork or Chicken along with unique side orders like Festivals and Bammy. (The cost of lunch is not included in the excursion rates)
- Visit Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville Sports Bar and Grill by the Beach.
- Duty Free Shopping in town and or shopping by the Craft Market.

Hi Dwight,
Just wanted to let you know that all 4 of use enjoyed our tour very much. It was fun and relaxing for all of us. Our guide Elvis did a great job of guiding us and keeping us entertained. He also did a great job of satisfying our requests to make our tour better by allowing 2 of us to switch to kayaks when we learned that you had single person kayaks available (your website indicated that you only had 2 person kayaks. That is why we did not book them initially.).
The only real glitch to our tour was that the shuttle boat that was supposed to pick us up and bring us to the beach was not at the pick up spot. This was not a big issue for us because we enjoyed the extra time we had to float down the river a little longer. But for some other guests, this may have been a big issue.
Our driver (Sorry, I can not remember his name) also did a great job. He was on time at the pick-up location and was very informative and the ride to and from the river. He pointed out numerous interesting facts about the area and appeared to be very knowledgeable about Jamaica and answered all of our questions.
If we return to Jamaica, we will certainly consider using your services again.

Our tour guides were great. Uton was the driver and he was there waiting for us when the ship docked even though the ship was late. He was kind and funny and was there waiting to take us back to the ship after the river adventure. Very positive experience. The river adventure was great. Cruz was our guide and it was fun doing a private excursion on the river. Again, he was kind and funny and taught us a lot about Jamaican culture. Showed us a great time.
So we are happy with the experience and would use your company again on a future cruise.
