Dunn’s River Falls & River Tubing from Montego Bay
Ride Along Jamaica’s lush scenic north coast through local towns until you get to the resort town of Ocho Rios where you can climb or view the world famous Dunn’s River Falls. Next, its off for a journey down the White River in an inner tube adventure. We finally head back to Montego bay for some last minute shopping before returning to your cruise ship.

We thoroughly enjoyed this trip, both activities went well together. The climb at Dunn’s River Falls was soo good, that we were late going to the river tubing. Our guide at the river tubing was Ramboo and he was soo funny, as we went down he sang for my two daughters on the way. At the end our driver Uton was there waiting to take us back to our resort in Montego Bay.
We would definitely recommend Karandas Tours.

The driver for the Dunn’s River Falls & River Tubing Excursion from Montego Bay was great. He was also very informative and attentive. The other person in my party wanted a particular dish from a local restaurant. The driver made multiple stops and checked with the restaurant staff to see if they had the dish. His efforts to accommodate us were greatly appreciated.
I am really glad to know that you offer discounts for repeat customers. We are already planning a trip back to Jamaica next year and we definitely plan on using this company again for all of our excursions.

Our family of four (kids 9 and 7) did the tour package including Dunn’s Falls and river tubing. Our Tour Specialist was Dwight Soares, and he was excellent. The drive from Ochos Rios to Dunn’s Falls was long (about 90 minutes) but Mr. Soares gave us plenty of history and sight-seeing along the way. Along the way he also offered us rest breaks and opportunities to shop at local authentic vendors if we chose. His van was clean and cool, and he was an excellent driver. On the return trip, he allowed us to stop at a local food vendor. The jerk chicken we ordered was EXCELLENT; a real treat. Mr. Soares had us back to the port well in advance of our port departure time. If you are hesitant about using an independent excursion company, don’t be. Mr. Soares and the Karandas Tours company provided us with a wonderful, safe and authentic experience in Jamaica.

Hi Dwight, Overall, we had a nice tour…The driver and transportation was very good… We enjoyed Dunn Falls and the Calypso River Tubing and thought they were good choices for us….. Now, the only detractor was the stop for jerk chicken… it was the called the Ultimate Jerk Rest Stop…it was crowded, they ran out of jerk chicken and the wait was so long, bit it was a Friday afternoon…

Your services definitely lived up to our expectations and all five of us had a wonderful experience in Jamaica.
Our driver Uton was very knowledgeable and informative, after our excursion he even offered to drop us off to shop and then pick us back up after he dropped off the other group at the cruise ship (they were not interested in any other stops whatsoever). He definitely went out of his way to make everyone happy!J I know our group was very pleased with him!!
I also wanted to say THANK YOU for your effort in accommodating us due to the Wi-Fi issues (texting and calling our hotel room). Karandas Tours is a very reputable company and I will be recommending you all to anyone traveling to Jamaica!!

We are extremely satisfied with the services Karandas Tours provided us this past week.
Our group didn’t realize that even though we had booked in advanced we had not paid in full. The balance was almost USD500 but that was “No problem” to our driver Rudy and Ed (I believe I spoke on the phone).
Both of them used up all resources they could so our group of 8 people could still have a wonderful climb to the Dunes River as well as a relaxing but fun water tubing down the river.
Rudy was very attentive, waiting for us and waving to us so we could recognize our bus from tens of others, I wonder how he recognized us from hundreds of other walkers exiting the park…Also, he made a special stop so our youngest group member could do a last minute stop at the restroom. Rudy was very cautious and made sure everyone was safe and all our needs were met.

We had an amazing experience with Karandas Tours. Robert picked us up right on time from our resort and was accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable the entire day.
Our specific excursion included the Dunn’s River Falls climb and the White River tubing experience. Robert was there waiting with a smile after each activity. He pointed out many cool cultural and historical tidbits along our drive from Montego Bay to Ocho Rios. We were able to stop and take photos alongside the ocean at one point, and he showed us a ton of native fruit and nuts. He took us to a local Jamaican restaurant for lunch where we had delicious jerk chicken. He made a recommendation for us to try the festival bread to go with our chicken which was a great choice; we all loved it. He even went the extra mile to stop by a vegan Rasta restaurant for lunch for one of our passengers who doesn’t eat meat. One thing we loved is that Robert made us feel so relaxed and comfortable through everything. It was an entirely stress-free experience thanks to Robert constantly reminding us that he was taking care of everything and that we were on vacation. He even had a cooler of cold drinks ready for us when we returned from the falls.
The falls climb was strenuous but a lot of fun. We brought a Go-Pro to capture the climbing process – there is a rock slide and a part where they have you fall backwards into a rock pool. The river tubing was relaxing and fun. We ended up being the only ones on the river which made it seem like very private and serene. Our river guide was very friendly and sang songs to us the whole time. We jumped off the man-made ledge into a deep pool in the river which was a blast.
We loved every minute of our tour and will definitely be booking another one the next time we return to Jamaica. We felt like we got a good combination of “tourist” activities and seeing the “real” Jamaica. We will be requesting Robert as our driver, he was so great!

Our driver was very good. He was very informative about how Life is in jamaica and had interesting stories. The dunns river falls was an excellent tour, as was the river tubing on thw white river, although getting to the starting point was a bit scary.

We had a great driver. We felt very safe with his driving and felt comfortable leaving our belongings with him. He seemed to know lots of people at each of the stops and he made sure we were taken care of. He even stopped on the way back so we could get some lunch – he took us to a great place where we got some jerk chicken and sides. Wonderful food! And he got us back to the ship in plenty of time – which was a big relief!
Overall, we had a good experience on our tour. The scenery is beautiful and the activities were fun! Thanks.
