Travel along Jamaica’s scenic north coast to experience the best beach horseback riding on the Island. It’s a combination of history and an unforgettable beach ride from a friendly crew, enjoying Jamaica’s countryside from winding scenic trails through a historic property, and riding through a river before heading to the ocean for a beach ride. Next we will head for an adventure at the world famous Dunn’s River Falls before returning to your cruise ship, Resort or villa in Montego Bay.
- Weight restriction is 230 lbs. per horse

The following options are also available after your excursion:
- Enjoy some Jamaican lunch, this includes authentic spicy Jamaican Jerked Pork or Chicken along with unique side orders like Festivals and Bammy. (The cost of lunch is not included in the excursion rates)
- Visit Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville Sports Bar and Grill by the Beach.
- Duty Free Shopping in town and or shopping by the Craft Market.

Our horse back riding and Dunn’s River falls excursion was a highlight of our trip. Both experiences were well organized and enjoyable. We would recommend this (and have) to others as a great way to see and do two main attractions in one day and still have time to spend back by the pool at our resort in the afternoon.

Hi Dwight,
Our driver (I think was called Donald – we’ve done so many trips I can’t remember !) was absolutely fantastic, he greeted us with a smile and made us feel extremely welcome both to the island and the tour. The whole time we spent with him was fun, he told us many interesting facts about the island and also told us jokes – we had such a “happy” day. I can’t thank you enough for providing such a wonderful experience for our excursion. The stops at the Braco stables and Dunns River Falls were unforgettable – the staff at Hooves were so helpful and friendly and so understanding and patient with first time riders – it really was a dream come true 🙂
Thank you so much, and If we ever get the opportunity to visit your beautiful island again we will be sure to give you a call.

We have an excursion for the Blue Hole and Dolphin Encounters tomorrow, June 28th at 10am. We would like Brooks to be our tour guide. I hope this request is okay! Brooks did a phenomenal job during our excursion on Tuesday and we would love to have him again.

WE have nothing but excellent things to say. We enjoyed our driver Uton. Hooves (Nicolo and Mario were especially helpful and very polite – we felt safe and entertained the whole time – we are not horse riders), and the Dunn’s Falls was a lot of fun.
It was a very great experience, and everything went smoothly.

Dwight today’s excursions were great including the guys at Hooves. Very impressed by them and horseback riding was a blast. Dunn’s Falls was packed and if it weren’t for our amazing driver Dexter we never would have made it through the long lines and wait. He made the trip amazing and when we come back to Jamaica we will be requesting Dexter!!

HI Dwight,
First of all, our driver, Robert, was absolutely awesome – possibly our favorite person that we met during our entire trip. He told us so much about Jamaica’s history, infrastructure, economy, agriculture – a ton of great information that you’d never get from a guide book (at least, not in such as way as to be so interesting). He pulled over to show us a great view of one of the bays and also stopped in Columbus Park where we saw all the old plantation equipment and tried fresh almonds off a tree. At each stop he’d give us tips about what we’d see and what we should do and a heads up if people would be there selling goods. Also we got into a conversation about reggae and he gave us a lead on a great up-and-coming artist (Chronixx… nice!). Having Robert made an already fun excursion into our most memorable day of the week. He was a genuine dude and we appreciated that so much. So thank you!
