White Water River Rafting Adventure from Ocho Rios
Travel along Jamaica’s scenic north coast until we arrive at a small dirt road that leads you along the historic Rio Bueno River in the lush valley. After going across the “Irie Bridge” and doing a small hike in the rain forest you will be given safety instructions, you and the rest of your co-captains board your raft and enter the fast flowing water. With your tour guide steering the raft from the rear, you use teamwork to paddle through the twists and turns of rushing white-water rapids. Finally, you will paddle to the beach where you can spend some time at the beach and have a cool drink at the bar before returning to your Cruise or resort in Ocho Rios.
- Round trip Transfers from the Ocho Rios Cruise Ship Pier or resorts included
- Maximum weight: 280lbs
- Participants need to be in good physical health to participate
- 7 exciting rapids including 2 surprises.
- River rapids are rated class 1 and class 2 (easy to moderate)
- Food and drinks are available for purchase at the end of your tour.
- The River flow is rated class 3 (swift moving water).
- River Rafting Tour is soft Adventure Rating
- Not recommended for pregnant women
- Duty free shopping also available
The following options are also available after your excursion:
- Enjoy some Jamaican lunch, this includes authentic spicy Jamaican Jerked Pork or Chicken along with unique side orders like Festivals and Bammy. (The cost of lunch is not included in the excursion rates)
- Visit Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville Sports Bar and Grill by the Beach.
- Duty Free Shopping in town and or shopping by the Craft Market.

Dear Dwight,
We had an amazing experience that started from the moment we stepping into Ewing’s van until he dropped us off. He was very knowledgeable about the area and extremely friendly. The .same was true when we reached our destination at the white water rafting site. We had Mark and Richard for guides. They too were a lot of fun, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. They had the children laughing and my step father the horticulturalist totally engaged in the environment. They sang songs with us as we paddled and showed us a great time. We returned to Ewing who brought us to a local spot for lunch. He even helped the children open up almonds that they desperately wanted to get opened. Our family really engaged with and felt that all 3 of them were amazing. I wouldn’t hesitate to book another tour if I ever return.

Our tour guide was excellent. Our ship arrived late and he worked with us. The tour (other than the jungle rope) was exactly as described and the beach was beautiful. Our tour guide asked us if there was anything that he could do for us. It was just the 2 of us (the tour on another island was cancelled when it was just the 2 of us )so the whole tour was great. I would highly recommend this tour.

I was hoping for more rapids in white water rafting but that was still okay.
